The title of the picture is Houses in the Negro section. The photographer is Jack Delano, it been taken on May, 1914.
The Photograph was taken outdoor, not lightling, which represent urban's scenery, and its been photographed in daylight. There are two people in the picrute, both in front of their house, looks like a women and a child. They are black, and the first thing catch my eyes are these two person.
It's a home picture, the house been surruonded by a lot poor soil and other houses. The Tone of this picture is heavy, negative, and dark. (Notice that the main part is two houses and they are both very dark so they became unclear)
I think the main reason that photographer take this picture is shows the harsh life of the negro section because in the picture these African Americans are live on the poor soil, obey the strict segeration rules, and they faced depression, what are they going to do?
The questions that I really want to ask the photographer are What is the white section looks like? and How do these Blacks feel about the segeration rules?
